The two new skate parks under construction are on track for a summer opening. Safety features include a new traffic signal at N. Santa Fe and Orange and median fencing to direct pedestrians to the new cross walk.
The two new skate parks under construction on North Santa Fe Avenue are rapidly taking shape and are on track for a summer opening. The “all wheels” parks with one featuring a streetscape design and the other a bowl design will accommodate all skill levels.
The facilities have been designed and are being built by Grindline Skateparks, Inc., with input from local skaters and BMX riders. Safety features include a recently installed traffic signal on North Santa Fe Avenue and Orange, new safety lights in the alley adjacent to the parks, and fencing in the median to direct pedestrians to the new cross walk and traffic signal.
